Comfort Tea: Our Story
Welcome to Comfort Tea, where the love of tea and the love of people come together in a beautiful blend of faith and friendship. Founded by sister-friends Gloria and Colleen, Comfort Tea is more than just a place to enjoy a cup of tea—it’s a testament to the goodness of God and His unwavering love.
Gloria and Colleen have faced life’s ups and downs with grace and resilience, finding strength in their faith and each other. Their passion for tea and fancy tea sets is matched only by their dedication to bringing encouragement and hope to women and girls from all walks of life.
At Comfort Tea, we believe in the power of community and the comfort that comes from sharing a cup of tea. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where everyone can experience the joy and peace that we have found in our journey. Join Gloria and Colleen for an afternoon of elegance, inspiration, and heartfelt connection.

The Impact We Make
Historically, faith-based organizations helped establish religious knowledge hubs as well as cultivate safe social environments. Many have veered from the role of providing social gathering grounds that build comradery and enhance social etiquette. That is where Comfort Tea steps in to bridge the gap between faith-based organizations and high society by acting as an encouragement wrap-around to ladies of all ages in the community.
For generations, societal teas have been used to bring together women (typically of similar backgrounds) to escape the stressors of everyday life. Teas were attended by women in ‘High-Society’ or those in high socio-economic classes. Comfort Tea aims to break that stigma by bringing the same comforts of high tea to women and girls of all socio-economic standings and couple that with an encouraging message of hope for participants.
Specifically, bringing encouragement to women and girls who have undergone emotional, mental, and physical trauma, one cup of tea at a time.
